Sad news. He had a tough time on both sides of the camera. Loved watching the series on Network 2 in the late 1980s. Enjoying the R1 DVD releases too.

When are you returning to write more posts? Your blog is hilarious, but it is not as much fun to re-read the same posts over and over again. Please return! Thanks.

Aww, thank you for your kind words! I have definitely not given up on this blog and I do intend to write more posts, but I'm really busy with work and family these days so it will take some time. But I will be back!

Thank you for responding. I am happy to be patient. In the meantime, I will have to content myself with reading the same reviews over and over again.

Don't use family as an excuse. This blog is very educational for a growing family.

There are a lot of episodes in season 2 with subject matter that literally begs for a snarky review. This seems to come naturally for you. I know how it is to put something down for a long time to the point where the momentum of ignoring it takes on a life of its own. But once you re-start, you will be amazed at how easy it is - at least for you - to be once again making those lesbian-prostitute-pregnancy related jokes.

'Till then . . . . .

I have resolved to bug you once a year until you return with more posts. Actually, I was just watching some of season 2 for the first time in years. With your previous blog posts in mind, it appears that the jokes for some of the later season 2 episodes practically write themselves. The episodes are just waiting for your particular brand of humor. Just think of all of the upcoming subjects.

Kathleen's mom as an alcoholic, Doris the secretary sending students to bring locker porn to Mr. Lawrence, Caitlin as the crusading journalist, the return of Mr. Colby, Heather and Erica catching tonsilitis from a high school boy that doesn't seem to know how to drive very well, etc. How can you not want to snark about this stuff 24/7?

I know it must be hard to pick something up after so long an absence, but "Come 'on, give us a try!"
